Tracker 300+ Configuration is via the RS485 interface or by using a USB cable which plugs into the front panel "Config" socket. There are no internal links or potentiometers. Each unit can be identified by a unique six character alpha numeric tag name which is then stored in the instrument's memory.

The Windows based PC software allows you to name and store full configuration and calibration setup files for future use. You are able to print the Tracker 300 configuration that is supplied with each unit prior to installation. You can also test the Tracker 300 with our free SCADA software. Signal Conditioning

Isolated Analogue Re-transmission.

The high-resolution (24 bit) universal input for Thermocouples (14 ranges), RTD sensors (4 ranges), 20mA, ±10VDC, ±100mV and resistance measurement. Combine this with the isolated high-resolution (16bit) analogue output ensures the highest quality of signal conditioning. The user selects 0-20mA, 4-20mA or a 0-10VDC-output signal, which is then scaled to any part of the measurement range. 20mA outputs can be used in source or sink modes.

For non-linear inputs (e.g. tank-contents volume measurement from head pressure) there is a User-Linearisation function. 10 and 24VDC sensor / loop excitation supplies are fitted as standard on some models and alarm relays are available as options.

The modules can be supplied as 110 / 230VAC or 24VDC / AC powered. Configuration is via the front panel USB Port or the RS485 interface. Both ports can be used simultaneously. The configuration software is free and is available in the download section on this website.

Data Acquisition

Serial Data to a PC/HMI

With the universal input for Thermocouples, RTD sensors, 20mA, ±10VDC, ±100mV and resistance measurement, the T300 series makes an ideal front end for data acquisition systems. The Modbus RTU RS485 Interface is fitted as standard, which is compatible with a huge range of SCADA, HMI and data acquisition software products.

Due to the instrument being only a ¼ load on the RS485 network, up to 128 Trackers 300s can be connected without the need of repeaters. 10 and 24VDC sensor / loop excitation supplies are fitted on some models and an isolated analogue output and alarm relays are also available as options.

PID Control

PID Application

Primarily designed for multi-loop applications where single loop integrity is important, the T330 series are fully featured PID controllers with auto-tune, heat and heat/cool outputs with separate gains for water or air-cooling. Control outputs available are SSR Drive, relay, 0-10V or 4-20mA signals.

The Tracker 330 series allow direct connection to Thermocouples and RTD sensors as well as process signals (e.g. 4-20mA) and is fitted with a Modbus RTU compatible isolated RS485 Interface as standard. The instrument can trigger an alarm should there be interruption to the communications plus a partial load failure alarm for electrical heater faults. A thermocouple ageing warning, to predict near future failure, is also a standard feature.

Trip Alarms

Process alarm outputs

The Tracker 322 features two-alarm relays as standard and all other models can have a T340 logic expansion module fitted to give 4 relay or TTL outputs. The 4 process alarms can be configured to have a High, Low or Deviation (Band) Action. To stop fleeting alarms, separate on and off hysteresis and on and off delay timers are available, where the alarm must in (or out of) the alarm state continuously for a preset time period before the output operates.

Other features include alarm blocking (stops alarms operating at plant start up) and Latching (unlatch via logic input on a T340 module or communications). Alarm outputs are individually configured to be energised, or de-energised, in the alarm condition.
